Eureka Elks Lodge No. 652 held its annual Mother’s Day breakfast and to honor one of its members as mother of the year. This year’s honoree was Aim’ee Carroll. She is an active member of the community, volunteer not only at Elks lodge but working with the local Veterans organization, secretary of the North Coast Employers Advisory Council and Autism Alliance. In the past she was active with the PTA and coached a teen soccer team. She is Vice President of Carbonneau Tile here in Eureka. When she is not working or volunteering, she enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, water and snow skiing.
